(1) In two-phase commit processing, a recovery manager that must wait for confirmation from its coordinator before committing or backing out changes made to recoverable resources by its part of a distributed unit of work. (2) A system in which a child unit of recovery (UR) of a multisystem cascaded transaction resides.
