Extremely fine-grained perthite with submicroscopic lamellae (1 to 5 mu m) detectable only by X-ray diffraction or electron microscopy. The K-rich host may be sanidine, orthoclase, or microcline; the Na-rich phase may be albite or analbite. Compare: perthite; microperthite.
