Davido is a Nigerian musician and producer. Born in the United States as David Adedeji Adeleke, he grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. He and his brother own HKN Music, a popular record label. A decorated musician, Davido has won many awards for his work including Best Male Artist of the Year from MTV Africa Music Awards in 2014 and Best Newcomer from Kora Awards in 2012.
