Colorless, white, or yellowish; crystalline; ZnSO₄.H₂O ; molecular weight, 115.45; sp gr, 3.98; melting point, 1,049 degrees C; insoluble in water; and soluble in acids. Used as a pigment and in white glass and in opaque glass.
