The term metalhead refers to a devoted fan of heavy metal music and its derivative sub-genres. Long hairs, leather jackets, spikes, army boots and band t-shirts form a look that is generally associated with metalheads. Also, "headbanger" and some other names can be used as a synonym for the word metalhead.
