A very rare, strongly radioactive, possibly orthorhombic, sulfur-yellow translucent mineral, U₃(VO₄)₂.6H₂O ; found associated with other uranium minerals. Ferganite may be a leached or weathered product of tyuyamunite. A source of vanadium.
