Devana
Devana is the goddess of woods in Slavic mythology. She represents the wild, the unattainable, since she has not yet given herself to a man. The root of her name "deva" means "virgin". Her animal is mare and she has a son Jarilo, whose fathr is Veles. After their marriage, she becomes the goddess Vasilisa.
